Case Study Overview:

Our client is ranked as one of the largest automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and has a global footprint. However, the cost of maintaining their static on-premises data center was becoming untenable. Also, their $10.4 million yearly data center contract was due for renewal.

Our client urgently needed to migrate to a more agile, cost-effective cloud-based infrastructure. They raised an RFQ to migrate their applications to the cloud, implementing a cloud security solution and application support from Oracle. But this meant a $7 million bill for them, including backdated support costs and reinstatement fee.
